Nothing is ever innocent anymore
Everyone comes with expectations premeditated
Failures at creating the life hoped for

Assuming plans will work
Falling back into petty behavior
Relationships merely for exploitation

Nothing is treated as sacred anymore
Tokens loosing their value by the second
Everything is tainted, from the soil to the air

So much that we use is toxic to our being
So often do we ignore warnings coming from all sides
So what? Plays so heavy that the track now skips

Sex always on the mind, ready to jump into a good time
But who will cater to that wandering soul
No moments respected to restore what is inside

Chakras misaligned, going off balance each time inner peace is neglected
Ancestors rejected in each step placed on this earth
Winds blow past earlobes all ancient blessings lost in mountain tops

Poison filled storylines infect future realities
Confused about standards of perfection ignorant to internal ascension
Pictures and postings are all you have

Expressing a life of wishful thinking rebuking the reward of effort
Complaints run through news feeds much like a toddlers snot filled nose
Envy dangerously ensue, hatred infused, stomach in knots from the truth
