Ordinary conversation is riddled with subtext, heart confused, mind upset
Unsure of what choice to make next, aware that life is not right
Wanting to vent to get the stress off your chest and get betrayed again
Wondering if anyone is loyal at all, seems as though respect has fallen

There are deceivers swarming, while only a few can be trusted these days
Relationships in a wreck, life filled with disruption 
Spiritual combustion, because they ignore the soul
Maintain statements of Holy aspirations, placing judgement everyone but self

Have yet to look in a mirror clear enough to see the foundation of you
Created pictures portrayed through actions that have no love just obligation
Lies have formed pillows that heads rest on comfortably
Associates believe what is shown and refuse to ask questions

All that lies under the surface will have minds blown
The village was destroyed and we continue to keep it damaged
People no longer value tradition of culture and rather conform blindly
Foolishly willing to place lives in danger, then worry later, yolo

Smiles tainted with manipulation, praying for salvation
Hoping the creator or a kind face will lend a hand
The community is confused and no one lends a helping hand
Turning backs on other who could help you progress

Assuming royalty and missing the mark, using day ones for instant gratification
Far apart from love and graciousness, shaming those who struggle
Choosing friends by appearances with no hesitation, going through the motions
Misunderstanding your unhappiness, actions are empty, words meaningless
